Kaycee J. McCoy is a seasoned digital marketing and branding expert based in Norfolk, Virginia. She holds the position of Founder & CEO at Create/Captivate Digital Marketing and is also the Co-Owner of Pawsnickety Pets, a click & mortar holistic pet supply boutique. Kaycee brings nearly 20 years of marketing experience across a multitude of industries to the table.
Kaycee’s entrepreneurial journey began early, influenced by her parents who were successful small business owners in industries like crude oil drilling and rock hauling. This upbringing instilled in her a deep-rooted passion for entrepreneurship. By the age of 5, Kaycee was already involved in her family’s business, and during her middle school years she ventured into crafting bracelets & greeting cards for her first two businesses. Her commitment to small businesses is evident in her work, where she collaborates with aspiring entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and small business owners to bring their visions to life through impactful marketing strategies and campaigns.
Kaycee’s involvement extends beyond her primary roles. She facilitates workshops throughout Hampton Roads, notably as the Social Media Marketing instructor for the Retail Alliance Foundation’s CROPs classes. She has also been featured in the book, “To Thrive, Not Just Survive: How to Build a Successful Business as a Military Spouse Entrepreneur” by Gems Collins and has also made appearances on a variety of podcasts.
In terms of community involvement, Kaycee is on the Board of Directors for the Retail Alliance Foundation and is an active members in several other organizations including the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, the Ocean View Business Association, BizConnect Hampton Roads, and Retail Alliance.
