A Plus Vinyl is a vinyl crafting store with locations throughout Mississippi and one in Portsmouth, VA. They carry a wide range of vinyl types and colors, accessories and parts for cutting machines, printed precuts, sublimation prints/blanks, T-shirts, heat presses, and beyond. Their Portsmouth location also offers classes, one-on-one training, and has a commercial heat press visitors can use in the store.

A Plus originally came to us looking for help launching their Portsmouth location. With six successful stores in Mississippi already, they were finding that marketing in Virginia looked quite different and wanted to get a social media strategy in place to bring awareness to their new store.

As we began talks we learned they didn’t have any formal branding in place, and their existing website was nowhere near what they needed for a growing business. Since they have dreams of continuing to expand into new territories, we developed a plan to take them through branding process and launch a beautiful new website that would house all seven store locations and give them an incredible foundation to grow on, all while simultaneously launching a social media strategy for their Portsmouth location.

A Plus Vinyl’s branding is bright, bold, fun, and engaging. We chose colors that would pop on anything they applied it to, and a typeface that’s playful while still appearing clean and professional. We created a main logo as well as variations for each location so the brand can be consistent and strong as A Plus continues to expand.

The branding was then applied to the new A Plus Vinyl website. Filled with color, easy navigation, contact information for all seven locations, and galleries full of crafting inspo pics, the new site establishes A Plus online and provides room to grow well into the future.

For our more localized efforts, we began executing full scale social media management and quarterly content shoots for A Plus Vinyl’s Portsmouth location in July 2022. In the first six months they experienced a 126.39% increase in Impressions, a 52% increase in Engagement, and a 56.98% increase in Reactions. We have also delivered nearly 500 pictures from content shoots and provided guidance and connections to get them involved in the local business community.
